West London’s Biggest Beer Garden Is Returning This July • The Prince

“>

Amongst London’s drinking and dining hubs, The Prince is absolute royalty.

At The Prince, teamwork really does make the dream work. From the outside, it may just seem like an unassuming Victorian pub but, on the inside, it’s a giant foodie hub that takes up almost an entire street, after developers merged a series of adjacent restaurants, and created an enormous beer garden shared between them all. And on July 4, it’ll finally reopen for another glorious summer season, after an enforced closure due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The buzzing west London venue appears in the guise of a flower-filled English garden. And, as it’s from the team behind Lost in Brixton and Pergola Paddington – both of which are also returning on July 4 – you know it’s going to be a good ‘un.

Crewing The Prince’s restaurant spaces are burger bosses Patty & Bun and the mac and cheese-loving folks from Wildcard, along with Utter Waffle, who serve up fresh waffles with panache. Libations take the form of Pimms, spritzes, prosecco, a seasonal cocktail menu, and beer on tap, and it all comes together in the covered English garden out back, featuring a retractable roof that’ll overcome anything the pesky British weather can throw at it. Draped with seasonal flowers and foliage, it’s a pretty magical setting for an evening session – or a daytime one, for that matter…
