For days when you’re not drinking, you’re driving, or you just can’t face the hangover – there’s Guinness 0.0. the new alcohol-free beer on the block.
Guinness has just launched a brand new alcohol-free beer and it hits the shops in Britain and Ireland today! Guinness 0.0 is the perfect, non-alcoholic option for those days when you don’t feel like drinking, but you still crave the feeling of a beer in your hand, and the smooth taste of stout on your tongue.
Straight from the brewers at St. James’s Gate, Dublin, Guinness 0.0 boasts the same perfectly balanced flavour and unique dark colour of the Guinness Draught we all know and love…just without the alcohol.

Want to get your hands on some? Guinness 0.0 will be available to purchase in the 440ml can 4-pack from Morrisons and Waitrose, both in store and online from today, October 26 2020, before rolling out across other retailers, off-licences and supermarkets.
How do you know this is the good stuff? Well, the journey to creating Guinness 0.0 has been a lengthy four-year development process led by the innovation teams at St. James’s Gate, the home of Guinness. They’ve been committed to developing the perfect alcohol-free formula that keeps every bit of the distinct character and taste of Guinness that the world has enjoyed since 1759. And they finally did it!

But how? It all starts with the traditional Guinness brewing process, using the same natural ingredients of water, barley, hops and yeast. Then, they use a cold filtration method to remove the alcohol without messing up that balance of taste. And yes, it really does taste exactly like Guinness.
The Guinness 0.0 features the same dark, ruby red liquid and creamy head that we’re all familiar with. It boasts the same hints of chocolate and coffee, the same smoothly balanced bitter, sweet and roasted tasting notes. It’s truly, unmistakably Guinness. And in fact, taste tests by an independent panel ruled that the taste of Guinness 0.0 is ‘outstanding’. High praise, indeed!
And if you’re looking for another reason to give it a try, it’s also a low-calorie option with just 16 calories per 100ml. So, a standard can of alcohol-free Guinness 0.0 contains just 70 calories.

But anyway, we know what you’re dying to ask – when does it hit the pubs? Well, never fear, you won’t have too long to wait! Guinness 0.0 will be available in pubs and bars across Ireland and Great Britain from Spring 2021. And if you can’t wait till then, you can always nip down to the shops and pick up a 4-pack to enjoy at home now.
Cheers to that!
