Takeaway pints: save your Saturday and support your local at the same time!
As bad as lockdown is, consider the fact that it could be worse with miserable weather. As it is, the weather gods are smiling on us, and some crafty London pubs have been able to start serving takeaway pints in the past couple of weeks. Throw in a beautiful London park, and you’ve got the recipe for a glorious day out – at least until the beer gardens return. Here are all the pubs we know to be serving takeaway pints and bottles, that are also a reasonable walking distance (pint in hand) to the major London parks.
Do remember to follow the latest social distancing guidelines, including seeing only one person from outside your household (until Monday, at least, when you can see five other people) and keeping two-metres apart at all times. Oh, since London’s parks are a precious community space, remember to clean up your rubbish when you’re done!
